My friend Villageanne posted a previous topic about preventing clogged drains from happening. Another friend of mine's mom recommended this Hairstopper product as a way to keep hair from going down the drain and clogging up the sink. This item is very cheap and easy to install either in the sink or bathtub pipe. I thought I would share this with everyone as well.

It is really nice to. I have one in the spare bathroom sink. My Grandson isnt here very much but when he is, he always trying to sick things down the drain. this prevents that as well as hair from going down the drain. He tried to put his mothers wedding band down and this stopped it. Great product and they are usually 2 for less than $3.00

You are certainly prepared for all situations with the sinks and bathroom. :-) I bet your grandson is very cute but very naughty for trying to put things down the drain. :-) Glad to hear that your moms wedding band did not make it down the drain. Thank you for the information about the cost.

My mom used to always have one of these in our tub as a kid! LOL Too weird! I have long curly hair, my sister the same so my mother I think tired of having to dig it out all the time (yuck, can't blame her) so this little "catch all" worked well for us!

Where do you get the hairstopper product from? Is this something you can buy in the store or is this a home made item you created Ken?:)+

Well, I have never heard of this one before. Thanks for the information. I will look it up and see if it is useful in our bathroom.
