Would you still wear those sexy high heels if you knew they could/would damage your feet?

I like high heels but I don't wear them daily because I go to school by bus and it's not so comfortable to have them. But on other occasions I love them, I think they are very stylish. I know they can damage my feet, but we all do thigs that damage to us. It is true that I might regret in the future, but I'm not so scared because as I said I don't wear them so often.

Ack you gave a best response before I got a chance, but I still want to reply. No I would not, and I did not wear them much anyway. They always hurt my feet, but everyone always said I had the perfect high heel instep to wear them. I am so glad I never liked them. I am so tall they made me feel like a giant, so it was best I not wear them. No one would have wanted to date me I would have been taller than everyone if I had.

Big no to high heels. I never like them and don't want to try those. I think those are not comfortable for walk at all. And I don't want to gain a pain in my ankle. I am glad I don't use them.

Not in winter or other non formal occassions. I prefer casual or even just plain Dr. Scholl's shoes even if people said it's hideous. In formal occassions sure I wear them, mine are pretty comfortable, not the on with stiletto tip !

Not only is the high heel bad for your feet, they are also bad for your female organs, back and knees the medical profession is pointing out to us. They are fine if worn occasionaly but they will screw you up royally if worn daily. They do look sexie but is that worth the problems they can cause when one gets older? Not to me.

There is nothing like painful feet to make you feel unsexie as I'm concerned

I never liked high heels because I could never walk in them. Also, why should women wear things that hurt? How could anyone not know how bad they are for a woman's feet? If they're not extremely comfortable, in my view, they're not good for your feet. Also, who ever heard of breaking a heel on a flat shoe?

I've actually lost a heel on a sneaker once, so that arguement is out the window...LOL! The thing broke clean in half, leaving my bare heel kissing cement.

No way! I forced myself to wear them for years, even though by the end of a few hours my feet were killing me. Now it's all about comfort! You can get some very stylish shoes with a reasonable heel and that are comfortable. I find that when my feet hurt, my whole body hurts; it ruins your day to have your feet aching.

i've become strictly a sneaker person on a day to day basis, only on rare occasions will i wear anything else. then it is just a slight heel. however, i'm overweight...so that brings matters into a question of balance.

If i knew for sure that a particular pair of shoes would damange my feet then i would not wear them. If i simply knew wearing 'some' high heeled shoes 'could' damage my feet then i would still wear them. Of course there's a chance they might damage my feet, but unless it's proved that that pair definately will then to me it's just a panic over nothing.

Some shoes are better made than others, as are some pairs of feet.
