Kobe doesn't like to put hairclips. He removes it all the time. I joke around and say, "he's a boy, that's why." Boys dont use hairclips, ryt? But what's wrong with him? How can he be able to see clearly? His hair always covers his eyes. But he doesn't like me to put clips on his bangs... What will I do. He hates grooming too... Oh boy! :(

Actually open hair will suit in your face. I think this is just amusement, pastime, joke etc. Please do not take your beloved's action otherwise. This shows your deep relationship. Congrats !! and keep it up. Try to not to put up hairclip when you are together. When you are alone only then you use hairclip, this will be best possible solution. As you said your boyfriend has hair covering his eyes, just you keep a small scissor in your purse and whenever he trys to remove your hairclip, you also show him scissor for cutting the hairs covering his eyes. Do not cut in reality just show him. This will be the another pastime.

Does anyone laugh at him when he has them in, knowing he's a male dog. I used to have a friend who's dog everytime it went to the hairdresser for a haircut used to get laughed at when he came home. It got to the point over the years as he got older he would hide under the bed following his haircut for hours, they all thought it might ne embarrassment? Could be the same thing is happening here?

I train my dog when he is still young. Until now he sometimes took off the hairclips but sometimes I think he forgot that there was a clip in his hair, hehehe. Dogs learn thru training. Just be patient and soon your dog will knew that we need to pony his hair. Chaemy, my baby boy now is 6 months old and sometimes when he plays around he didn't want a clip around his head so i won't put some on him. You should know your dog so you'll be able to recognized what you should do next.

Well, I am sorry but I can't help you there. The only wise thing for him to do is to get a hair cut or he'll be like that forever.

I have two dogs male and female and they both hate the hair clips, rubber bands, bows. They always have. Even when they were puppies. I think it prob pulls their hair and thats uncomfortable and irritates them. I just keep the hair on their head cut short. That keeps the hair out of their eyes and keeps them from trying to knock the clip out.

Mine is the opposite. My Shih Tzu, Logan, likes anything that we put on him including clips. He will stay quiet when we groom him. He loves to be touched.Usually after we put on any stuff on him we will clap hand. I guess he likes the attention.
