There has been a snow storm going on about ten miles and twenty miles from me. In 24 hours they got over 50 inches of snow. We however did not get only about five inches, it is suppose to continue to snow all week. How much snow do you get.

i was amazed to hear about all the snow New York has received since this past sunday and are expecting much more this week. I live in Delaware and we never get snow this much or this often. We have not even had an inch of snow as of yet, though that may change come tuesday and wednesday when another storm heads east. I have seen pictures of people on their rooftops in NY shoveling snow. It is amazing and hope everyone is okay and looking after the elderly people.

I have been watching your area on the news. I know this is unreal this time of the year. I get no snow ever! send some my way please. I am in MS. and if it even looks like snow we get to go home. LOL only because all the salt and slag is used up North and we have nothing to put on our roads. we usually do get ice, but nothing this year. It is cold here and we are expecting rain is all. Make a snowball and sell it on ebay!

Oh boy. My sister lives in Central Square. I'm sure they're digging out right now. Good thing they love to play in the snow. We have several inches. Since we live only about 2 blocks from Seneca Lake, we get tons of wind barelling down our street. Our problem is not the snow so much as the freezing temps and the extreme windchill. Stay warm!

We live in Springfield, Oregon and most years we only get an inch or two of snow that quickly melts away. There is more in the mountains. This year, we had about 3 inches here in the valley and it froze, making it last more than a week which is very unusual for us. We do get lots of rain though.

I...am...so...JEALOUS!!!!! LOL Why can't we get that much snow??? I would be able to totally kick medooley's butt in his snowman competition. Fine...ok...it is now up to you to beat medooley's snowman. Or to find a snowman that someone else has built. LOL Snow all week, huh? I am soo jealous! The most was have gotten was last year end of November/beginning of December, we received 10 inches. I think I need to move to your state. Is it normal for that area to get that much snow???

We're finally getting our winter here on Lake Erie too. With a couple feet on the ground, it's been too cold to snow now. I love winters and don't mind the snow one bit though! Yeah, I know... I'm crazy! LOL

I'm just outside of Toronto, and we've only had a few inches in the last couple of days. All around us though is really getting nailed hard. There is a nuclear plant where all the workers have been there for 2 days because they couldn't get out because of the snow. It's going to be a tough week. It's not going to get any warmer, and more snow.

Isn't this just amazing-- I'm in NY also-- Southern Tier-- We only got about 5-6 inches the whole time Parish and Oswego were getting hit. Supposed to get some heavy snow today (Later) through tonight and tomorrow- Calling for "heavy snow warning"... 8-14 inches today and another 8 or so tomorrow... Nothing like Parish-- but enough! I wonder if Parish and that area will be hit with this storm too? Its amazing how you can live 10-20 miles away and get so little.. It's like that here with Buffalo- 1 hour away and they sometimes get hammered.. Gotta love the weather.

love that ny weather dont you, and it is strange on few miles away and the differences that we get, the heavy snow warning we will see how much all of us in new york get.

Sometimes we hardly get any snow at all, other times we get so much snow we cant go anywhere for days at a time. I'm currently tracking a snow storm that's headed our way because I'm curious as to how much snow we're really going to get. Nothing is really solid yet as they aren't sure what pattern it's going to take, but I'm getting kind of antsy because I wonder how long we'll be stuck inside this time.

my son would love snow but we normally don't get any. it was 71 yesterday and now the temp is going back down. its funny when we do get snow cuz we can get like 1 inch and everything starts shutting down. its funny cuz were i am from we get the snow every year and its nothing to most of them back home. we had like 1.5 inches and everything was shut down for like 4 days. how crazy is that

Cities and towns located in Northern most part of India experience snow during winter. I am from Bangalore, India where the winter's lowest temperature is 15 degree celsius.

I heard we had a few flakes on Saturday but they were gone before they hit the ground. I didn't get to see them - it doesn't snow much here in Florida. But in New Brunswick - wow, I've lost my car in snowstorms.
