Seeing the boss jump in right beside them and helping an employee with their jobs. Hearing "thank you" and "I appreciate you" and you are doing a good job.Do not talk down to them, so not lose your patience with them. Do not make them feel like being the boss is being superior.

There is no better way to be motivated then loving what you do.......money, challenges,bonuses,whatever it may be, if you don't like what you do it causes other things to happen out side of work..................

colleagues' working attitude is also an important motivation. if i find my colleagues got no interest in their work, i dun find much motivation to carry on my work.

Try to match jobs with personnel personality and character traits.In other words, give a frontline position to someone of a sunny disposition (extrovert) who enjoys interaction with strangers.
