chocolate covered Altoids?I like ginger flavored the best. I tried the new chocolate covered ginger altoids last night. They are all right, but I prefer them without the chocolate. My fiance prefers the licorice ones. I think they are gross!

I prefer the peppermint altoids. Sometimes I drop a couple of them into a mug of hot chocolate - it's delicious! I too think the licorice ones are nasty.

That is a good idea. OR even in coffee.

I've never thought about adding Altoids peppermints to hot cocoa/hot chocolate. Interesting notion; I'll have to give that a try.

Now that's an idea! I've always liked a bit of peppermint in my hot chocolate. Now I know what to do with the 1/2 eaten tin of altoids languishing on my counter.

I used to say I liked altoids but I really just liked the little tins lol, I thought (and still think) that the peppermint is way too strong, it hurts my mouth. I found the cinnamon ones and I love those, I think I can take more kick from a spice like cinnamon than peppermint. I haven't tried the Ginger ones, I have a weird thing with ginger. I either love it or hate it and I don't want to hate them, I love the gingerbread, sweet ginger flavour but not so much the thai herby ginger flavour if that makes sense. I can't find the chocolate ginger ones but they seem promising. I love love love the choclate cinnamon ones, they smell and taste like mexican hot chocolate sooooo yummy. I really like the licorice ones, but I like licorice so that makes sense lol.

I used to get the regular Ginger ones at Target but they stopped selling them at my Target so I guess I will need to order them online now. I just got the Dark Chocolate covered ginger ones at the 711 on my way to school last night. I like the cinnamon ones too. Even the Wintergreen is better than the peppermint. I eat like 5 at a time though....

Altoids? The Curiously Strong Mints from Britain? Of course I like Altoids even though they can be pricey. My favorite flavor is Peppermint, closely followed by Cinnamon. Oh, and yes, I agree. Licorice Altoids are gross.

Umm... I like plain old peppermint Altoids.. lol. I do like the tangerine sour ones as well. I've had some of the other flavors, but I didn't know they had chocolate covered Altoids. Maybe none of the stores where I'm at have any yet.

The chocolate covered ones are pretty new. I stumbled upon them at the 7-11 by my school... and since they were ginger I bought them. Ginger and dark chocolate. It sounds kind of weird but it's actually pretty good.

I'm not a fan of Altoids - they are too strong for me. I bought some awhile back thinking they would be good but I didn't like them at all. I've heard of the chocolate ones but haven't tried them. I might like the licorice ones but only because I really like licorice :)

I don't think I would eat the licorice ones because I hate licorice. Ever since I was a kid, I just can't stand the stuff. I do really like the plain ginger ones, so you've got me curious about the chocolate covered ginger ones. I did have a chocolate covered mint one the other day and it was really quite good. The chocolate was nice and dark and helped curb the strength of the mint a bit. Not sure if I would buy them, but I would definately bum them off my co-worker who has a tin in her desk.

I can't even stand the smell of the licorice ones. Ugh! I know what you mean about the chocolate curbing the strength. I do so love the dark choc. covered ginger ones.

I just went out to look for the dark chocolate covered ginger ones yesterday and could not find them! How annoying. I will have to keep looking because they do sound really good and unusual.

I think I have tried all of the flavors, except for the Chocolate. I am not sure I even want to try the Chocolate ones. But my favorite is the Cinnamon. I have tried the Licorice, and they are not too Bad, but I think the Cinnamon ones rock.

The chocolate ones aren't chocolate flavored - they are the regular flavors dipped in chocolate.

Not much on licorice. I like the old standby of cinnamon.

I love the peppermint ones the best. Plus they are perfect for my ashtmatic girls. When they get to wheezing they can eat one and it helps them. They only do this for light attacks though.

I did not even know they were doing chocolate covered altoids! I'm not sure how I'd go for that - I mean, I like mint and I like chocolate, but more the creamy consistency. I do like altoids, although they're a bit pricy to have. I tend to stick to the minty ones, and haven't even tried the licorice ones. I guess I"m rather boring in that way!

I have only had the chocolate covered ginger. It's kind of like... well it's not soft chocolate but it's not as hard as an m&m

I only like the peppermint ones.. either the original ones or the mini ones (which I think are sugar-free). I have tried the ginger, cinnamon, and wintergreen ones but I always go back to peppermint. (I don't really care for the ginger ones.) I have seen the chocolate covered ones at the grocery store but I haven't tried them yet.

Altoids... blech! I find them too strong. I will only eat them in the most dire of emergencies! Then again, I've only had the original. Perhaps the chocolate covered ones would be more up my alley...

Give the chocolate ones a chance... or even some of the other flavors. I don't like the original peppermint ones either.
