Does anyone decide in advance what they are going to cook for meals?
How far ahead do you plan?
Do you shop according to what is on sale?
Do you set a meal plan for the follwoing week and really stick to it?

ctinabina I usually think up 2-3 recipes I want to try a week. One is usually a new one using a cooking magazine that I get, and the other is just something that I already know how to cook or some variation on that. It works out well because the other days of the week...

ctinabina I really like eating cold vegetable soups, like gazpacho. To make gazpacho, take fresh, uncooked vegetables such as tomato, cucumber, and bell pepper (seeded) and combine with fresh parsely and lemon juice and blend it up. I'm sure a quick search will reveal...

ctinabina I have some quick meals:
- chili: brown ground beef w/ desired seasonsings, add 1 can of kidney beans and 1 can of crushed tomatoes. Voila! It's good with a cornbread or biscuits (which are also quick and easy to make.)

I must admit, when the heat comes (and it's 80 degrees where I am today), I tend to look much more like a wilting flower than a fresh one. I get sweaty, and over heated, my make-up runs...you know, the works.
