Moldy food served in a restaurant. Would you ever eat there again?

Last Friday was my husband's birthday and we went to a restaurant. We order our food. He ordered a steak and I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato. His steak was fine but when they brought my sandwich out to me the tomato had mold on it. All they did was replace the tomato and bring the sandwich back out. The manager of the restaurant did not even come out and apologize for the problem. When we got the bill there was we were charged the full price for the sandwich. My husband asked the waitress there is anything that can be done. She asked her boss and they only took $1 off the bill since they replaced the tomato. We have decided that we will not eat there again because of the mold and the poor service.

I wouldn't eat there again, and I would write a letter to the management explaning what this type of customer service could do to a business. I'm guessing you have mentioned this to your friends, and now they probably won't eat there either. It's so silly how places throw away business by not doing the right thing by their customers.
I think you have been very nice in this situation. You could have called the Board of Health, and then they would really be in trouble.

Hmm. Normally, I would say I'd eat there again. But since your problem was not handled that greatly, then no, I probably wouldn't eat there again.
