Was just curious to see how many people still use it and do you use it to chat, check messages, how do you use it if you do? I only use it to get my e-mail alerts while I'm online. Once in a while I will instant message a friend if I see them on but very rarely.

I use yahoo messenger all the time. It is the only way that I can contact my sister as neither of us can afford to phone. I also chat to my boyfriend on there and a friend who lives far away as well. Some days I think that without having yahoo messenger I wouldn't have an adult conversation all day.

I do the same thing sometimes, but because there's someone on there who I don't want to talk to sometimes. That really comes in handy though, thanks:)

I use it to chat with some friends that are far from me, to send some sms messagea also thru their yahoo mobile(don't know if it's available in your place though).
But now, I often get to use it, because mylot eats a lot of my time already!;) Plus, it's user-friendly..

Yes, yahoo mobile is available here. I don't have the time though to have it on my cell. I know, I put most of my time on here so I don't have time for chatting much online or my cell for that matter. Thanks

I always use yahoo messgenger. I can't think of stop using it. I have so many good friends with whom I chat in yahoo mesenger. But I have to admit, now I am using it little less than before as I am busy with mylot in my free time.

I know, it's hard for me too, to be on yahoo while I'm on here most of the time. Thanks.

Shoot 6 or 7 years ago I couldn't live without Yahoo. I don't use it anymore. I don't know more than 5 people that do. Even less is AIM. We still use MSN occasionally, mostly the teenager does. Although that has really slacked off. I think it was a phase. Our teen is a more hang out with friends more than phone or messenger.

Yeah, I hear you, you kind of get over it and don't need it much. I just like it to see when I get messages since I still have a yahoo e-mail account. It's the only way for me though to stay in contact with some out of state friends. Thanks for responding.

I use it a lot; Moreso than my MSN Messenger which was used to keep a hold of my cousin Chris; He passed in October, so don't use it much.

I have a couple of instant messaging accounts, I have one with yahoo, one with skype, another one with gtalk..and the last one I got is the X-IM... I rarely use all of them at once though coz am afraid I'd be messing around... lol
I only log in to yahoo messenger and X-IM every time I turn on my pc...I use YM to keep in touch with my relatives and friends abroad, and X-IM for my client who created this IM account for business purposes coz according to him X-IM in encrypted and thus a lot safer compared to the other IMs...:P

I tend to use MSN messenger I don't think there is much difference between the two. It's great to be able to contact friends straight away when you know they are online.

Well gosh, thanks for responding, but that's a first that I've gotten such a short response! Don't you know you get better ratings by the longer response you give? Thanks though!
