Where Your Personal Opinion.
YEs Pakistan Does Need A Literate Population.
But Before that We Need To Handover The RunninG of Our Country To The Right People, Cause Right Can Get Everything Right.Investing in Education(Which I Personally Think Is Going The Right Way Now) is under the hands of the Ministers conrolling the education ministry.
If The Ministers are corrupt then who will think about getting the people of Pakistan educated.
There is another way,by Reducing the defence budget(which is high coompared to other asian countries)and using it on other sectors of the economy like the educaton and medical sector. This Can only be done if we feel safer from our neighbours like India and Afghanistan.
Other than education our industrial sector also needs revival and most of this development should be aimed at improving the quality of goods and services. If u Have noticed that cars that suzuki and indus motors used to assemble before were better in quality(The corolla indus was better than the model introduced in 2002,the one being produced now).If we improve the quality of local goods then we would not need to look into international markets.Buying goods from other countries puts pressure on the balance of payments to improve, and we know ours has been in a deficit for a long time.
Economic growth,Better Infrastructure,Foreign investment(to an extent) stable currency rates, quality of life of the people of pakistan, standards of living all of these things play a positive role in the development of a country.
ANd Thanks For such a good topic on My Country.
