Gadget toilet from Roto-Rooter...are they kidding?

Roto-Rooter, based in Ohio, is running a contest through April 2nd, 2007 for somone to receive a 'pimped out' toilet! It has a laptop, a flatscreen TV, an iPod with speakers, a Xbox, a fridge and cycling exercise machine. My God, can you even use it to go to the bathroom? What happened to...reading? Ummmm....the last thing I'd want to do in the john is cycle! What will they think of next? Please note the contest is only open to US residents (what, no one else goes to the bathroom in the world?) Is it me or is this way over the top?

Ha that's quite funny! But in answer to your question yes its waaay over the top, don't you think a fridge would be a bit unhygenic? An exercise machine?? Half of this stuff wouldn't fit in my bathroom never mind being able to use it in there! Although I have got a rather bizarre image of me sitting doing mylot on the toilet lol!

I had this vision of trying to rock out while doing my ahem...business! It is too funny! But where do the extra rolls of TP go? I mean, they want you on it so long, you're gonna use at least one roll (omg...seinfeld's elaine--'a square to spare' has me laughing so hard!)

Didn't Tim "the Toolman" Taylor (aka Tim Alan) feature one on his show? Or maybe it was an entire bathroom, but I do remember the fridge and TV.

That does sound like something he'd try to create...of course, it would have to spark or catch fire!

Ewwww a fridge next to a toilet .. what are they thinking of .. hehehe ... all those 'lavvy' germs going straight into the fridge everytime you flush .. ohhh myyy ... And I'm sorry but it has to be said ... "It could only happen in America" hahaha !! Bigger, better, bolder, brasher heheh when 'you guys' go OTT you at least go 'over the top' in style .. I wonder how many folks will enter the competition .. and will the winner sell it or have it installed ... ??

My bathroom is bigger, but not nearly to accomodate that toilet! I can just imagine...plus with the electronics involved, I would only want to have something like that only in a powder room instead of a full bath. But the germs...eeewwwwwww!

I saw it on TV and my first thought was anyone who can afford to buy this has more money than sense.

Wow, I like to read, but not much of anything else, well of course the obvious too. I know of some people who make it like a date with the toilet each day and it take 30 min - 1 hour !!! It is so crazy. Me? I am in and out as soon as possible.
