Your mylot friend list.

Hey everyone. =)
How many of you see this feature as the most important?
I personally feel it's by far the most important one. i'm here to make friends and join in disucssions, with friends who like simular topics i can't lose.
Another quick question.
I've noticed that alot of mylotters say that they check there friends discussion but how many of you have loyal friends who drop by often as you pop by there?
I'm just interested. (i read one of my friends discussion regarding a simular matter that they thought it was very important to support there friends)
I do too. I try to keep up with all of my contacts but i have to admit it is hard, but i do get there. I can say (at a guess) i have around 5 who nearly pop by often. your thoughts?

Hiya, My friends list is THE most important feature. When I'm looking for discussions to take part in I alway look to them first as that's who I chosen BECAUSE of their ability to make a good discussion or who have left me some really good replies! I try and answer at least one of my friends discussions per day (time permitting and if they have anything that I can respond to) A lot of my discussion have only been answered by my friends so I thank them for that! Great discussion topic!

Yeah, I do check my friends, about once or twice a week, and try to keep up.
It’s a bit unrealistic, though, to expect some people to do much, because they have very busy discussions, and have to stay with them.
Some friends have disappeared after a few posts, some are obviously writing millions of responses, some are good at keeping up with posts.
I have one friend who’s very good with my discussions, but I can’t contribute much to some of hers, because I’m not very involved in crafts.
I think it boils down to what you can actually do to support your friends, more than the principle.

personaly i don´t see the importance of that feature. it's nice if your friends post a lot, and your interest are the same.
but even in that way i don´t see it as the most important feature

Fair enough.
I've seen some who think the "earning system is" personally i dont see that being anywhere at all near the friend feature or the community side. What's the most important feature to you?

Definitely Mylot friend list is important for me. I am here basically for making friends and enjoy reading and commenting, money is the bonus. So, friends are very important to me. I always try to go through my friend's discussions and respond to them, though it is not possible to respond each and every discussion. I have some good friends who regularly come to my discussions and make their comment, but they are very few. Lots of there in my list who never come to my discusions.

Yes I think its important, I just like to answer my friends discussions and hopefully a few of my friends will answer some of mine.

Well the friendship is indeed the most important thing to me here Joey. The money is obviously nice to get some extra cash, but it isn't the main thing. I really enjoy the discussions here, and meetong new people. And I am lucky, that I do have a good group of friends who regularly visit my discussions. Have a nice evening!

Definately the most important! Of course, it's nice to make some money, but it's never going to be enough to live on, so the friendship and the fun is much more important. I have made some really good friends here. We visit each others' threads, and also private messages too. It is amazing how yu can find people from completely the other side of the world, and yet have so much in common!

I feel the same way. I just wish there was a better way to organize the friends list. I use my friends lists to make my posts for the day but I changed my mind. LOL I think the better way for me to post is by returning the favor to those who have posted on my discussions whether or not they are on my friends list. It's a lot more fun. And I feel like I am returning the favor.

yes i do find that your friends are a very importatnt part of mylot. I do spend the bigger part of my day on mylot just responding to their discussions. In the long run it does pay off. I also have a few that joins my discussions as soon as they can and im very greatful for them.

I am fairly new to myLot. As of yet I only have a few friends, but the list is growing, and I do from time to time check out the discussions my friends have started. But really the friends list isn't really the most important feature, I just love discussion groups really and talking about things I am interested in.

I just joined and only have one friend currently... but its nice to see what they are thinking, and what they are having discussions about. I can't say I plan to "drop by" their profiles often, even with a lot of friends. I already do that enough with livejournal, myspace, and facebook ;)

hello joey. i try to respond to all of my friends discussions everytime i log in mylot but i must admit that is so hard to do. i have over 200 friends and i can only make 10 posts to 30 posts a day so i quickly respond to those discussions that i can relate to. It's sad that i cannot respond to all discussions especially from those friends who are so good at responding in my discussions. but i'd rather not respond than putting "i do not know" responses. i just hope they will understand. i do try to make it up to them the next time i log in mylot and see if they have discussions that i can say something about.

Hi yes, I see this features as the most important. I love making new friends and finding out more about them, their likes, loves and dislikes. I do respond to my friends every day and I expect them to do the same and they have been it is really good now but not at first it was different but now I am making my mark with them and making them understand that it works both ways to have good friends. Oh I have around 70 friends on mylist but I do their discussions every day. I simply love my friends.

Yes I agree with you. I have been sicerely checking the new discussion of my friends and replying them, but only few are loyal to me.....the rest already forgot me.....once I did send each one personal message to remind them, they did respond once or twice, but there is no regularity. I don't want to force anybody, if they want they will respond. I think mostly people have no time, because one respond leads to another, and their is no time to go and open friend list and friends discussion. People want to reply as much as they can, without wasting time, so what they see first, they answer. It is ok, I have no complains.

I agree also. After reading all the comments from my discussions, I go to my friends list and do discussions on theres. I only read my friends discussions.
