I dont like it at all. It makes me feel cheap and dirty. I tend walk a little faster and get out of there as fast as I can. I know teens may enjoy it but personally I think it is degrating to women.

Yup ladies, I agree. Even being older, one would assume that I would be thrilled that a man would notice...but I still find it a real turn off and very degrading! I too put a spring in my step and get out of there faster too villageanne!

Hey, it happens even less at 50 years old! Although, I'm still hot, only now it comes in flashes!

depends on the holler :) sometimes i look back sometimes i dont. depends if i'm on a hurry or i'm just strolling along. if he's cute and seems no harm to me then maybe i'll smile back.

I usually role my eyes and ignore them also! Altho the older I get the more flattering it is becoming! I usually am walking with my friend who is much younger then me and we just laugh it off! Call them freaks and go on about our business!

Roll my eyes and ignore him. People who do that are freaks.

I use to respond to those who hollered or whatever when I was younger and fresh out of the country. Thats what you did in the country, someone holler at you you wave and smile back. But that stopped when I moved to the city after I graduated. My older sisters made sure of that. Especially after a guy started following us. Now to be on the safe side I usually stick my nose in the air and look the other way. I make sure to tell my friends that if they see me walking down the street and holler at me don't get offended if I don't respond. It is a blessing to be getting older and now it doesn't happen as often.

If I am in good mood I smile, but I am always feel a little fear when an unknown does this. Well, anyway they do this just because they have good mood too.

I don't get that happening to me much now, unless its my husband, so that's ok. When I was younger though I used to hate having strangers do that to me, I would just ignore them and act like I didn't hear them.

Just roll my eyes and walk away. Unless it's my boyfriend,I think I would blush.

Oh well I guess it depends what age you are, if your under 30 I guess it's still quite common and can be boring, but for those of us who are the wrong side of 30 I think it could be quite flattering. I suppose it also depends what he looks like when you turn round, if he was absolutely gorgeous then I'd be really stunned and would probably blush, although if he was a bit of a minger i'd probably give him a dirty look! Great discussion!
