Here on MY LOT I have noticed that some people get alot of responses to their dicussions and some do not.It may be a cult following or something else who knows. I think we all need to be recognised here equally and respond not just to the most recognised members but the newcomers too so everyone gets a fair chance at making some money. Of course the newcomers need to do their bit too (I am one myself) so lets all help each other in this big team and make MY LOT No.1 for TEAMWORK.
Tell me what you think teamwork is all about.

I totally agree. I decided a few days, I would try something new. Once someone has commented on one of my discussions, I make it a point to visit their discussions and comment on on of theirs. It's my way of saying thank you.

Yes I've been doing the same thing. Although I am still a newbie. I try to visit posts from people who respond to mine. It's been keeping me busy and I'm having a good time.

Hi Jan, no it is not a cult thing but you have to tell your friends to respond to your discussions not all of them but when you put out a good discussion like you always have here that I have noticed which is really good as some of the members only send out 1 or 2 lines very hard to discuss with these people and the ones answering these are not going to be able to give a good response back so therefore they will not earn much so don't worry if you do not get many responses as they will not be earning much due to this problem here.

I do not see any cult following. I also know very well that mylot friends are not responding to mylot friend's disucssions all the time because they have come to know it is not worthwhile. What actually happens here at mylot is some topics when posted, it stays on page one for a few seconds if not attended immediately by others, it goes into 2nd or 3rd page and slowly it gets into 30th or 40th page within a few minutes. No mylotee will go on search into many pages and hence this topic becomes totally unattended or with one or two responses. I have been here from August and have 11000 posts to my credit. More than 200 topics of mine have received 1 or 0 responses. If you look at the topic (not self boasting) most of the topics are very interesting. I have a platoon of friends. Nothing is happening. Once the topic is posted, one should go and do the followup whether any response is received and if need be some comments to be made.

Teamwork for me is letting my friends fill my email box. They keep me busy. While answering their discussions I do check down below and see what other discussions are there. I see more people that way.
When my friends slow down, then I go to the no response section to answer what I can there. That helps them out while it helps me earn.
Not sure why some get alot of responses no matter what they post. Doesn't seem quite right, but that is how it goes.
It takes a bit of time for newcomers to be noticed, so patience is needed. Start slow and learn your way around and develope your technique and therefore a following. Good luck with this. I look forward to more of your discussions.

I noticed the same thing, too. I thought that's what 'friends' were for. I always check to see what new discussions my friends have started so I can respond, but I'm not sure mine are getting checked as regularly. I kind of thought inviting 'friends' was kind of like making your own team. I'll respond to you and you respond to me.

hmmmmmmmmm...okay ur rite...team work IS important but if u notice, there are just sooooo many discussions goin' on here that ppl dont get enough time to browse through each and everyone of 'em....therefore they only respond to those discussions which catch their eye instantly

yes, i think this is what our friends list is all about. a lot of people invited me and i accepted to be their friend, and yet whenever i post a discussion, i couldn't generate more than 10 responses, usually, that is.

I guess to me teamwork is a big part of mylot but so is only responding to what interests you. I check out my friends discussions numerous times throughout the day but I don't reply to ALL their discussions because sometimes I have nothing to say.
But I do try to post to at least one or two of their discussions a day and rate them--usually I post to more though. But I like to get to the topics with no discussions or new member discussions. There are some decent things that get overlooked.

Ream work is not need we say that only for sucess we use it in the organisation. If we are doing our work and we are confident when we take discussion we think because we take discussion ourself. Team work is required only when we are doing big work and there is need of more ideas. Then we use the team work.

Ya im agreed on you. What the people doing is they just post their thoughts but they are not intresting on others postage.I dont know why its happen.
I dont know how many of them are really responding their friends in mylot. If every one do that thing then automatically teamWork is present at the time...

I think the people who get a lot of responses are those who post something thought provoking or interesting or something that the person has experience with. That being said, I think this post has received a lot of responses, so maybe your original post WAS thought provoking! LOL

Teamwork is about helping each other out. We all want to make money here and in order to do that we need help. I try to do alot of posting and responding. I am new here so I'm still learning.

You are telling right.I also noticed this. You know before I logg in to mylot I log in to my mail as to find what are the discussions started by my friends? Then I logg in to mylot,Check for discussions started by my friends, respond them first and then I start to respond other discussions. We all are the members of a big team and the policy should be:"Earn money and let others earn".What do you say?

Have your selected friends start it with your topics, and before you knew it everyone is doing the same thing to others like a fever spreading fast.

I believe that teamwork is working together for a common good. But the goal has to be defined. and on mylot that would just limit who can answer. Yes there are people I would prefer that take their opinion and move to some place else. But as an outspoken person I have already gotten on the short list with a few people, that do not want to hear what I have to say, They only wish to be agreed with. And I will not comply. So I do not agree with that only some members get a lot of responses, If you check they have earned them by being out there and putting out discussions of interest to a lot of people. And to me that is what this site is all about, discussions of all sorts

taking out extra time just for mylot is bit tough for me. so i try my best to optimise my time. i only go for discussions that interests me and where i can post responses without thinking for long-long time. i got 174 responses to one of my topics that i posted and believe me i didn't request anybody to participate. infact i got only 1 referral so even that isn't a help. you should post such topics that immediately generates interest in the people around.
