What's a good job for someone who's 16?

Well I'm looking to get a job really soon, but I can't find any good jobs. I haven't worked any where before so I don't know where to look for a job or what kind of job to get. I found a couple of opening at some accounting firms that except students but I don't think that they will employ me because I have no previous work experience. Does anyone know of a job that pays quite well (by quite well I mean above Illinois minimum wage) and excepts 16 year old students. Thanks.

Make your own job! Lots of successful business men started out this way! I know a very successful local car dealer whow started by selling cars out of his yard. Use whatever special talent you have, whatever you love to do most, market your services, and don't give up!

Well at 16 with no experience there are no "Good Jobs" out there for your age bracket/experience. If you don't want to go Fast Food and I don't blame you stick with retail at first. It is cleaner at least it usually is...

You don't say if you're still in school or not.
That will be the first question any employer asks you.
If you have good oral communication skills and have the proper working papers you might be able to start out in a telephone call center. Such jobs can pay as high as $9.00 an hour.
There is not a lot to choose from without a degree however. This is why people stay in school.
