Admit it: Looks do count.

This is my philosophy. To meet someone (dating wise), there has to be something about their feature that draws you in-some type of attraction. Otherwise, you wouldn't even try. After that, you get to know the person, and looks don't matter anymore. Your relationship will then grow on similarities, differences, time spent together, etc. Do you agree with me or not and why?

Well, its basically the appearance first then getting to know each other when it comes to dating. Most people are on the visual aspects and you cant help. We mostly easily admire people at first glance with how good they look, how well they dress or even how big and nice their smile is.:)

Looks count in all aspects of life in this society, unfortunately. It's the first thing we get judged on. I can go to the store in a pair of sweats, no makeup, etc..and get treated like I am less than human. If I go dressed decent, with make up, hair done, etc..people smile and talk to me, I get treated totally different! What attracted me to my husband was his smile. I've actually been asked how I ended up with such a nerd!! Well, that "nerd" works his butt off to supprt our family, tells me I'm beautiful even when I don't feel like it, supports me in every decision I make even when he disagrees with it, I have found my one true love, and I am lucky. It's a shame people will deny them selves true happiness just because someone doesn't fit the profile of what Americans think of as "beauty."
