It's very well known that the Philippines is the SMS/Text Messaging capital of the world (Please, if I'm wrong on that one, feel free to say so). Millions and Millions of text messaging is sent and received every single day here in our oh, so fair country. What's with text messaging, anyway? Personally I don't send out more than five messages a day (Is that a sign of a depleted social life? Hmmm). But I know of some people who LIVE to send out text messages - it's part of their existence. What's all the hype? Is it purely convenience? Or is there really something very addictive about fingers splaying all over the keys of our mobile phones? What's the negative effects of such addiction? Is it even right to call it an 'addiction'?

I agree with you. Philippines known to be the texting capital of the world. But thanks to the unlimited promo of the company 'coz we are not costing too much to send a million message to our friends. Other's call it as Mobile addict. I spare time texting almost 3-4 hours at night after making my task at home and making my assignments. Maybe others make texting as a hobby 'coz they have nothing to do at night.
