Are there any negative effects of using the internet for too long?

For everything that you have too much of it has a negative effect on you for example if you eat too much sugar it makes you a diabetic and so on. I wonder if there are more negatives than positives about the using the internet too...

jaisky Anything done in excess has a negative effect. Where id I hear that eating TOO much veggies is bad? Don't know if that's true, though but hey - I'm no expert. Knowing how powerful the internet is and how imuch it influences our way of life - using the net...
