My favorite beatles member is John Lennon. I believe that the beatles won't be able to reach its highest peak of success if not for the remarkable contributions of John Lennon. Lennon is just an amazing composer and performer. He's got one of the most coveted flexibility in music and charisma.

While, in my opinion, each Beatle was great in his own right...Paul will always be my very favorite. As a matter of fact I saw him in concert about 4 years ago and the experience was something I will never forget. It was the best $240 I could ever spend (and I'm very frugal). It was the most extravagant thing I've ever done.

My favorite Beatle is George Harrison. I think his songs "Something" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" are few of the greatest songs of all time.

George Harrison has been my favourite since I was in kindergarten. He wrote, played and sang some of the best songs. He also wrote a book that included some of his intellectual humor. He was very droll. I wish we could hear some more of what he had to say.

Ringo was definitely the best Beatle. He was Mr. Conductor on Shining Time Station--MR. CONDUCTOR. Not many Beatles can say that they were pocket-sized, train conductors at one point in their careers.

John Lennon is my favourite too.Besides being a terrific song writer,a good singer, and a brilliant composer he was a passionate prophet of peace.
He was conscious of the political scenario of his time, and was a vehement critic of universal suffering caused by war.

I liked John as well. it's interesting to speculate what the Beatles might/might not have done without one or the other, Paul & John. Paul was the romantic of the two, and brought a smoothness and "saleability" to the collaboration. John made it possible for the group to continue expanding their musical horizons and evolve into music such as that on Sgt. Pepper & The White Album. I believe that without John, The Beatles would have become a Herman's Hermits-type group, churning out a few pop hits and then fading away. Without Paul, John would have experimented without focus and the band would have gotten nowhere (at least popularly). Also, John would have never written such classics as "Imagine" and "Woman" without Paul's influence.

Definitely Sir Paul MacCartney. Loved his works and his band, "Wings." I like singing his songs from it, like No More Lonely Nights, Band on the Run and his duet with Stevie Wonder, Ebony and Ivory. When he was on Beatles I like singing his songs like Let it be and eleanor Rigby. Truly a great influence for me!;)

i think paul is the best beatle there is. sure it's john's band. but surely, it would not have been the same if paul were not included there. plus, paul still had a succesful career post-beatle. i couldn't say the same for john. ^_^
