Is there any specific way to avoid depression?

I am looking for some ways to keep being happy and avoid deppression. Do have any idea about it?

Focus on what is good in your life. Do not watch the news. Do not worry about things that you have no control over. Make sure to always stand erect and breathe deeply. If you need help with resources drop me a line

Keep yourself busy. Don't dwell on the past. Don't think of bad memories. Set goals farther than your expectations so you do a lot more and have less time to think and worry. Don't worry.

Stay positive no matter how hard it is...I have been dealing with depression/bi-polar without medicine for 10 years...Keep yourself surrounded with loving people who arn't negative...Exercise, eat healthy and just keep yourself busy..These are just a few things that have worked for me...

I must say that when you are down and with a frown, Caffeine is a splendid pick me up. Regardless of how you get it... Expressos, Tea, No-Doze.. its all good. But if you are in a manic mood, the java can actually kill your sanity so its a very oximoron result.
