Do referrals work against us?

I saw a post yesterday about it getting more difficualt to reach a minnimum payout here on mylot, but other similar sites as well. Someone responded that the diffeiculty is due to the flood of new people signing up. If more people posting on the site leads to it being more difficult to get your minnimu payout, why would you invite people to join? Even if they post quite a bit, and you get a cut, you are still shooting yourself in the foot by inviting competitors for the smae dollars. I just thought it was an interesting problem the thread uncovered.

i don't think that new signups make it harder to reach a minimum payout, actually i have been trying to get more and more refs as i seen that my income from them it is getting higher, so i am really glad to see that and i get them from here :http://leadexchanger.com/auto/join.html?doccolin 25 signups and from what i know it is the easiest way to ger for sure refs. wish you the best

There is so much that I don't understand that I couldn't begin to answer your question. I can't get any referrals. All of my friends think I am spamming them when they get them ~Donna

I certainly understand when people think you are spamming them. Whenever I refer something to a friend it is always because I honestly think they could benefit from it, but I have to tell you, I have never (!) had a friend sign up for a site that I referred them to. I don't blame them for not responding, but I am just saying it's hard to convince people the wisdom of doing it. Then again, when I have signed up under someone else's referral, they have never commented on my posts, so I ask myself, why should I give them credit? People have to take the referral thing on faith, and not many people do.

Actually, this makes sense to me. Mylot may not make more with each new person that joins, or a corresponding amount more. So with each new person, maybe the amount mylot pays out stays the same, while the number of people to pay increases. So each of the current people get less per post. That only works if you assume that the amount each member earns mylot decreases with more members.

I see your point. I didn't realise that having more people on the site meant each person got a smaller amount of money. Is that why it is harder to earn day after day? Surely that isn't fair to us.

Well it's not a secret that by the time more and more people are joining MyLot and the chance to get good earning by posting quality posts is smaller. So that is the major problem I guess and it will stay undiscovered till MyLot will increass that minium payout for respondes.

I hope this is not the case. I just signed up as I heard about this site and am looking to put some extra money in my pocket. When I first heard about this I thought it was a complete scam. After reading some of the posts here, I am now undecided. I tried out this data entry site where you sent them money and then apparently you begin doing on line data entry for internet companies and make thousands a month, well, that was bullsh.. I sent them my money made none and they ignored my request for a refund, which is supposedly gauranteed. I'm pretty sure the site is www.dataentrypro.ws. Don't be fooled by it!

I make it a policy to never pay for anything that should be making money for me. Mylot is definitely legitimate. It is a very good place to get ideas if you write articles for other sites, its fun responding to different discussions and is more interesting than any chatroomIhave frequented. I hope you find what you are looking for here!

Well, to me, I still try to get more Referals on here all the time, and never think about it in that aspect, as you do Earn 25% on all of your Active referals so even if that is only an additional $1 or $2 each month, that is an added Bonus I would have not had other wise. I am always continuing to get New referals on here, or try for them, as I feel we are limiting ourselves if we do not, and not everyone is going to be Active, or stay active in here.

It doesn't work like this. Many people are not much active. For some it will take few years to gain first payout. Without people mylot wouldn't be able to have deal with Yahoo.

We all share earnings here and everyone gets what they deserve. It's true that there is lots of people here, but yo have to know that we are also getting earnings from our good and active referrals, myLot also gives us share of what they earn as well. I am very happy and have ot one single complain.

I think it is still a great site for everyone visit.Because you can share your opinion and also sharing your feelings. So I do think that it is ok for the pay out and it's ok that they are paying low.I think I will still invite people to join this!

It works both ways. When you have a lot of referrals, you continue to earn money, even when you are not online yourself. That, to me is a great advantage.

Where there are alot of posters, that 10 dollars will probably drop off. You can only rely on referrals for so long.

I think more people mean more business and it really doesn't mean that you are competing against each other, together we are creating more value to the website and in turn to ourselves.

I think totally opposite. If we get bigger as a community and we keep on getting lots of good members, then its sure that we will start earning good as this site will benifit and we as a member will get benifit out of it..

I have posted over 1200 times now and from the begining I did not see any change in my earning pattern. My earnings are $40 so far. At least $38 from this is for posting only and not images or referrals. When more people join the value of the website will increase and the earnings of mylot will increase and some day they might sell the domain for about a billion dollars.

I also noticed it that when we only few here I earn more but as long as the numbers of members here increasing my earnings also continue to go down. Maybe if we continue to have many people here are earning will continue to go down until we cant earn for a single penny and just enjoy the sire for alot of people already know this site.

It depends on what kind of referrals you make. My referrals work so hard, harder than I am that's why it works very well for me. I earn more with referrals than posting. Even if I miss posting in one day, my earnings still go up the next day because of my referrals.

I think it's important to have "quality" referrals. I see people who have got loads of referrals probably, but they never post so much, or very rarely. And these are the ones that work against us more than any others.

I am a new member here at myLot, i believe let us just be positive in everything we do, so as we can produce a positive aura in our life, and good things will come out. Whatever difficulty we believe we experience, i guess its part of the process as we are still starting with this so called technology like earning money here in the net...Patience and loyalty i guess is exercised in this manner
