No I don't think so, take the bird flu thing for example they are only saying that it is safe just not to panic anyone! Bernard matthews has gone down hill in my opinion anyway!

I used to eat white bread (Wonder bread was my favorite), but now I use only whole wheat/multi grain breads because of the health benefits. Whole wheat breads have more fiber and the carbs are better for you than the simple carbs in white bread. It took a little bit of getting used to, I have to admit. Whole wheat breads have a different taste and texture, as do whole wheat pastas, but once you get used to them they're good.

Whole-grain breads are much more filling, and are much better for you, they aren't sugar going directly into your bloodstream!

well, i certainly prefer white bread to brown bread considering the taste. but these days i am not allowed to eat more of those. the rason being white is bad as compared to brown. it is a product of refined flour and anything refined is bad for health. white flour is refined of all fibres and good nutrients and my mom has stopped buying those. however, one has to be very careful while buying pure brown bread, as most of them , in our country, are coloured instead of actually unrefined flour. thank you

I prefer brown bread. I only eat whole grain breads now which have lots of fiber and nutrients, unlike white bread.
