Please be cautious before using the Vista Transformation pack

I do not know if anybody else has faced this problem before. I had used the Vista transformation pack to give my XP SP2 system a facelift, knowing fully well that at the end at least I had system restore to fall back uopn. The mistake I made was not to back up my files using Norton Ghost. Now This pack has made changes in the system settings. I could not find the program in the add-remove programs nor could I remove the programs by using the XP system tools. The System restore has stopped working after this installation. It seems that I HAVE to repair my system using my CD, problem is I am not finding it. God, now I am stuck with this memory consuming program.I take back all my recommendations of this program. Please all of you, be very careful if you have to use this tool. It can really screw up your system if you are not careful.

No receipts, but I have the product ID and key and it is genuine Windows certified online. Do you think this will help

I have noticed myself that Windows Vista actually removes Windows XP, so it is impossible to revert the process. The only way to restore is to reinstall Windows XP, but without the CD you have a real problem. I recommend contacting Microsoft as a previous poster said, although I do not envisage any great hope of satisfaction.
