kids donot no to differentiate between the good and bad...they may by chance log into areas in which they are not supposed to..........this may create impacts on them.and also the rising obsceinity and vulgurness make this children an easy prey...parental guidance is must..it is also not that we can deprive them from internet.............

This is why there are parental controls - by all means yes let kids have access to the internet BUT use the parental controls to ensure the kids don't find their way onto unacceptable site.

well internet is not bad on itself...but with little ones you must be careful. They cannot get in the puter alone until a certain age..and once they get a bit older, you can and should enable filters for them...the new Vista has them...and parents should track all their visits to sites etc so that if they detect anything that kids shouldnt see they can block it.

The internet is now EVERYTHING. You can't shelter anyone in the developed world from it, including children. In fact, I think that it's a bad idea to shelter children from the real world. It's inevitable that they will be exposed to vulgar or obscene material eventually. It's really up to the parents how they would police this.
