hi! i agree with you. it's a very good place to just relax and chat with friends. sometimes, i'd also go to the quiet branches to study. i find that their atmomsphere is very conducive.

I was once one of those people who didn't want to pay like a gazillion dollars for a cup of coffee. Then, one day while in NYC I stopped in for one. I didn't know what I was missing. It was a Grande Mocha. I've been hooked ever since.
Then, I started buying the coffee to make a home. I usually switched between Folgers and Maxwell House regularly. I didn't taste much difference. When I started brewing Buckies at home, my wife became a convert. The coffee just has so much more flavor. Actually, with all the different coffees they have, they're like the Baskin-Robbins of coffee.
My favorite blends are the House, Komodo Dragon, and Ethiopian Sidoma.

maybe the costs differ in different states. i have a friend who went to san francisco and she said that a frappe could cost up to $15. i'm nt sure in different states though.

I like the fact that starbucks do decaffinated coffee and give you soya milk if you want it, it is very unusual for a coffee shop to do that.
I like the comfy furniture and atmosphere but I think the cups are too big and the drinks are too expensive so I don't go there very often.

I love Starbucks and I am sitting here drinking a Carmel frappaccino. I like how Starbucks employees take the time to make sure your order is right and how you like it. I like their Venti Vanilla Bean frappaccino with extra light ice. I like the customer service they give and the drinks are absolutely delicious and exactly the way you asked for them to be made. I started going to the Starbucks they opened by my home and each time I've gotten my drinks from Starbucks. I also like the fact that Starbucks tailors their products to a specific market which is mostly young college and professional adults.

yes, the service they provide isreally good. i like it that most of the baristas in the branches i frequent are like my friends already. and even those who are from different branches are always friendly and try to strike a conversation

I don't go to Starbucks. But then again, I don't like coffee, so I guess that makes sense.

Good question. I never had starbucks coffee. I'm a long distance truck driver and I drink tons of coffee. But the day I have to pay in excess of $2.00 for a cup-o-joe, is the day I put a coffee maker in my truck. Most truckstops give the stuff away so it would be hard for me to pay that much. I see starbucks everywhere I go, and even walked into one, but turned around once I seen the prices.

yeah, i think it wouldn't be practical to be spending much on a cup of coffee especially if you drink it on a regualar basis. and with your line of work, tavelling all the time in long distances, it wouldn't be more practical to buy coffee at the truckstop.

I LOVE Starbucks. I love the atmosphere, and the baristas remember me and chat with me because I am a regular, I love the music, but mostly I love the coffee. I love it strong and everything else is weak by comparison. I also like that they come up with new stuff on a regular basis. The cost of gas is cutting into my Starbucks budget though :(
