Cake?

I like Chocolate cake. Is a common dessert cake served at many gatherings such as birthday parties and weddings, that contains chocolate. There are many different types of chocolate cake depending on the alteration of the ingredients and chocolate flavoring. Some alterations include adding extra flavorings or different types of chocolate.

I've been experimenting with marble cake recently - and doing a tricolour one, flavoured with: brown section - cocoa; white section - vanilla; pink section - chocolate essence. Thiat's had the thumbs up from everyone who's tried it, and, although I say it myself, it's not bad. It's so easy to make, and so effective! Either that, or a mean banana bread (with lots of golden syrup in to give a crust), or a marmalade and walnut cake. My nan used to make a fabulous black forest gateau.... mmmmm.... cake....

I make chocolate mint cheesecake. That's really yummy. But my favorite chocolate cake is any of them. LOL. I just read somewhere that you can substitute the oil in brownies or chocolate cake mix with an equal amount of applesauce. It apparently doesn't change the taste, is very moist and doesn't have as much fat or calories.
