Does anyone like to just lay down on a dark night and look up at the sky? I do I love looking that the stars. They are the most beautiful thing(other then my wife. hehe) that I have ever seen in my life. I also like to look at the moon. I used to have a telescope but it is broken and I gave it away. I remember one time I was looking at random stars with my telescope and boom there is Saturn! I mean it was not colorful like the pictures you seen in book and posters but it was breathtaking ever the less. Any of you guys use telescopes here, and if so what the coolest thing you have ever seen in a telescope? Also what is your favorite constellation if you have one. Mine would have to be Leo or Orion.

I don't know that I have a favorite constellation, but I love heraing that there are others out there who love stargazing. I think that the stars are so beautiful! I would love to lay out at night and just gaze up into the night sky and marvel at the wonders that it holds. I admit that I have not done so in a long time, and I certainly can't right now because it's so freezing cold outdoors at this time of the year *laugh* But I really love stargazing. ^_^

Yeah it does get cold. Some time it is hard to find the time to just lay and look at the stars. I have not looked at the night sky for a little bit. I might just do it tonight!

This could be a little off topic, but... the most beautiful "sky thing" I've seen (just on pictures... sadly) are the Northern Lights. I have a discussion about that. You can have a look. As for the Night Sky. I love the Moon. I love stars... and I need the Night! And everything together, just makes me relax. I don't recognize the constellation. I had a telescope as a little boy, but mine broke too. And now... I just look at all the stars.
