Technology is advancing at exponential speeds. Computers are decreasing in size and doubling in speed every two years. So they will be small enough to wear. Eight years after that they will be small enough to implant. Neural interfaces are being worked on now for handicapped people to control their wheelchairs and artificial limbs. By the time computers are small enough to implant we will be able to interface with them directly.
