Why can some see ghost while most people cannot? Can one develop this abilty?

Im really afraid of ghost. I dont know about the school thing but I do think that you can develop it on your own. Some say that If you do believe in a certain something, you will see what your looking for. But if you dont believe it, or if you neglect to know the existence of something, it will stay as is. Its all I know and hope you get my point. =)

maybe they are gifted. sometimes its better not to believe in something you don't want to see!!!

I just think that it is people's imagination that makes them see ghosts and other such things. So you just need to develop your imagination :)

I believe there is no such thing as a ghost and i think it is just an extension of people's imagination that they wanna see it.although i really like the concept of being able to see ghosts but the fact is they are just imaginary

I believe that a lot a person can, or can't do has a lot to do with how they are brought up. If a family is very negative about a person seeing "ghosts", "spirits", "fairies", "dragons", etc, those entities will stay away, not to be seen, and as the child grows, they will lose the ability to 'see' the otherworld around them. To those that don't believe in what they can no longer see... Have you ever watched an animal or young child seemingly playing with the air itself? Ever wonder why they are jumping around, or intently looking at something? Ever thought - 'Do they see soemthing I don't?' Well, guess what, that might just be the very truth. If you don't use a skill or ability, it will fade away. Believe, and concentrate, strengthen your awareness to what is truly around you, and perhaps you will once again see that which you saw as a child.

There is no school to teach this ability. Everyone posseses the ability to see spirits as a child before the mind is corrupted by the adults around. Some people never loose this ability as it is inside of everyone if they are in tune with it. I am one of those people who are "clarvoyant" and have had numerous encounters with the spirit world.

Nobody can see ghosts because there's no such thing. Some people just lie for the attention they get, and some have overactive imaginations.

ghosts only shows themselves to someone who they believe wont do any harm to them. imagine if a lot of people could see ghost, there will be ghostbusters available worldwide, and its a dangerous thing for ghost. just like when a ninja lost his ability to blend with surrounding, he'll be a deadmeat in seconds
