nevreborn My guess would be that your kids in particular are putting the volume up as loud as it will go, that way they don't hear you when you call on them to do something - or at least use it as an excuse for not hearing you. You know how much they like getting off...

nevreborn Ferrets can be very dirty animals if you don't take care of them(worse than *ahem* hamsters). Not to mention, they aren't truly "caged" animals, they like their freedom to get out and run around. They can be sneaky, and find ways of getting out too... and once...
