which song of dreamtheater do you like the most?

right now my favorite is a nightmare to remember! great song and heavy :D

Personally I have a cache of different songs I really like by Dream Theater. Recently I love listening to "Scarred" off of "Awake". I also love to hear the entire "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence", specifically the title suite, "Glass Prison", and "The Great Debate". I also truly love hearing "Under A Glass Moon" as it was the song that got it all started for me with them.

My favourite is Pull me Under! And " a strange deja vu " too.

I just love Forsaken from the newest album.

Metropolis is my favorite song. Some people call it a pompous showing of their ability, but I think it is a well written song that allows the musicians to show off while still sounding good unlike some musicians (Yngwie Malmsteen coming to mind).

HOME. Best dream theater song ever.

I don't really know about them, but i heard a song called "spirit carries on" if i am not wrong. I like to hear that song, sounds slowly but the rythm is good. I like the voice of their vocalist. It's an originally voice. I heard that all of them are the best band players.

Lie from Awake and Anna Lee from Falling into Infinity are my all time DT favorites.

I loved the budokan version of Hollow Years, still today that guitar solo gives me the chills lol.

for me.. all songs of dream theater are amazing each song has different style, technically speaking different sound too.. so i can't cmpare...

I think Space-Dye Vest has a gentle, cosmic quality that almost makes dust get in my eyes. It's beautiful and melodic. It's too bad they don't perform this song in concert because it was a Kevin Moore song. I think Scarred might be my favorite song. Great time changes and fantastic, dueling solos by John Petrucci and Kevin Moore.

Favorites include the Dance of Eternity, Octavarium, Learning to Live, Ytse Jam, and the Glass Prison.
