Any other 3 Doors Down fans out there on my lot?

My ultimate most favorite song is "Here without You". It was a song that a great friend and I had when he was on the road a lot finding his dream playing hockey. I still get choked up when I hear it.
I was even lucky enough to meet them in person. They had a concert here locally and I happened to work near the civic center where they played. They were on their way over to practice and I literally walked into them as I came out the door. I was flabberghasted and went "OMG.. YOU'RE..." they laughed and went.. YUP. Then the drummer and I walked together to my car laughing about some stuff. I was invited to go to the concert that night, because I commented that I had 3 teens that would want to go if I got to go and I couldn't do that. Unfortunately we also had a hockey game to play. The drummer cracked up and said "Spoken like a true hockey mom... gives up the free tix to a concert to do hockey!" LOL

Oh yes I've got one of their albums on my cd changer in the car it has 'Here without you' on it! I should really listen to it more because it's one of those albums that you love every single song on! I don't know much about them and would definately walk past them in the street! You're lucky to have met them they are very talented from what I've heard of them!

They are good and I hear that in concert they really rock. A lot of bands don't come off well "live" if they're highly synthisized for their albums. These guys are great. I've heard them play live on our one London Ontario rock station too. I swear I'm going to see them live yet!!!!!!
I love Kryptonite too. (Listening to it now) LOL

I have yet to see them in concert :( i want to soon tho but i love there music i consider them one of my favorite bands. i enjoy so many of there songs because of the lyrics and the music itself. I find listening to them helps me when i write poetry, plus many of there songs i have had dedicated to me or i dedicated to "her" so they have alot of meaning for me! Glad to see other people on here enjoy thier music like i do!

Kryptonite is my favorite, although I must admit, I've never purchased a 3 doors down cd, so if they don't play it on the radio, I don't know it. Here without You is a great tune, but Kryptonite is so sharp and lyrically challenged it sets my hair on edge. "you call me strong you call me weak but still your secrets I will keep, you took for granted all the times I never let you down."

yeah me too here without is one awesome 3door stuff.. and to tell you i love to play that over the guitar while i am singing lol! its speak about letting go the person in physical but in soul and mind its hard to get through with it....
