my first valentine what should i gift ?

Give him something that is meaningful. It is nice to be able to look back and remember that you were given something from the heart. That is what makes Valentines Day special.

The general rule is : start with expensive gifts then gradually go cheaper , like you can give him something you know he would like to have , like a guitar or a book on first valentine's ,then maybe a set of dvds of his favorite show or movies , then an expensive bottle of perfume (like a fahrenheit 100 ml) next year, next year an expensive watch , then an expensive tie , then a jewelled pen , then just give him I love you cards .

Speaking as a guy for guys, it is not going to matter to greatly as long as the evening ends the right, if you know what I mean. Nothing tacky or insignificant but something nice. I have never heard of a list of certain things for certain years for Valentines Day and if there is I have been screwing up for 14 years. My suggestion, don't worry so much about what to get him, rather make some good hints about what you want (I am talking gift wise) because most guys are not really good at picking gifts for women and end th evening right then it will be a great Valentines Day for both.

Make him food or something. The easiest way to a man's heart is his stomach. So go bake him a cake or make him some nice dish. Just don't make a burger that tastes like a pizza or something of the same sort.

give him a hand watch,,, and a kiss

its a commmon problem for all.
