I have recently came across the private sites that post torrents and wanted to ask everyone opinion? Is it difficult to get invited? Does anyone have an invite for one that I could try.

I need a really good anti-virus for my son's new computer - anybody got any suggestions? He is only 8 so not too clued up about sites that could pose a potential risk and he loves games..... Thanks :-)

volcanoman I have been using NOD32 for about 3 years and it has worked like a champ! Also may want to get Xsoft anti-spyware.

volcanoman Is the computer starting up after it is turned off? If that is the case, it is most likely hardware related, such as bad power switch, motherboard, or power supply. My money would be on the power switch. If you have the time and willing pick up some cheap...

Here is the debate in my house now, should we get an expensive dog or a nice middle aged horse? My oldest daughter (age: 4) is a fanatic about horses, I am quite fond of and enjoy them, my youngest daughter is quite fond of them...

volcanoman IE 7 is a little better but Firefox beats them both. I only use IE 7 because a couple of the internet sites I go to won't work with Firefox.

volcanoman I have been looking at this and the only way I can see is you would have to get some sort of video capture device for your computer, then record them to your computer. From there you could burn them to a DVD, but you may need decryption software such as AnyDVD...

Do you regulary backup your Harddisk?

as subject, are you backup your harddrisk regulary or not ? I'm always backup my hardrisk , but not so regulary, I usually backing it up when my harddisk space getting low, so I can get the freespace back.

volcanoman Probably not as regularly as I should but I do have my important files copied to a disk, CD's and DVD's.

volcanoman Definitely Google. They do return many of the results because they are using very similar technologies but the other big ones (like MSN, Yahoo, etc) seem to be more driven towards commercial and retail results.

volcanoman That is a great idea and is one that I have been working on. If I can get my wife to decide on a rescue dog instead of, I believe it is called, a golden doodle we probably could afford them both. Thanks for the post.
