can we possibly change our username?

a lot of people here mistake me for a man and though it's not a big deal with me, there are topics that i post that are from a women's perspective and i'd hate to send out wrong signals. can we have it changed? how?

yeah you may,but it takes a legal process and lots of legal procedure to do so.not to mention the cost you are goin to pay...provided that you are not doing it to defraud or in bad faith against somebody or use it to shield yourself from prosecution of a crime(these are the conditions provided by law...however if the correction is based merely on typogrophical errors on your birth certificate it will only cost less and no litigation is necesary......try consulting a lawyer in your vicinity...he'll know what to do...just prepare some money coz it'll cost you much.peace!

I would think that if you wanted to change your user name, you might have to join again under the new name and drop the other name and membership. Not sure though...

funny but i never gave it a thought before. when i was first introduced to the net, (i think 9 years ago), i still had 2 kids, namely joshua and dale. so, i combined both and used it to open an email account. the username stuck until now coz it's easier for me to remember that than those fancy sounding names i tried and which i promptly forgot. now, i want to change it coz i'm getting tired trying to let everyone see that i'm a female. but, i'll pass on the info to you once i get it. why do you want to change it, by the way? it seems okay to me.
