Do you have a doorbell in your house?

Hi shang, I do not have doorbell at my place. This is because we rented the place and haven't really bothered to fit any doorbells. I think doorbells can actually be quite helpful. Sometimes when you are sittin' in the room, playing music on loud volume, knock on the door might not catch your attention or maybe when you are busy with something, you might not hear the knock. However, if people misuse it, it can be pretty annoying. Till now we are fine without it but if we buy a house, I'll definitely have a doorbell.

No, I don't and I have been putting off installing one because I live alone and I am sometimes scared of who might be outside. But I do have a peephole and I can check to see who is out there and decide if I want to open the door. I usually have my door closed because of the salesmen and women who goes from door to door with their products and sometimes it is so difficult to get rid of them.

We don't. We have such a small house so I don't think we need a door bell. And most of the day our door is just open and a lot of people come in and watch tv with us. That's how are family have been. My mom and dad ahve always been so closed with the neighbors and as for me, I spend most my time inside my room.

We do not. We live in the country 1000 feet from the road. Our dogs will alert us the second someone enters the driveway at the road. Plenty of time to prepare to greet a visitor. We don't get many visitors so even if we had a doorbell and no dogs we wouldn't even need one.

yea, we do. we had to have one since we are way far from the door and we hardly can hear the knocks of the door.

Since I only have a medium sized house, I don't need one. Our neighbor have one and it's being abused by children passing by her house, annoying sometimes.
