I must admit that I am very addicted to coffee. In the morning, I will not be able to start functioning properly, before finishing my fourth cup of coffee. Then I keep drinking coffee all day and evening long. I generally drink from 10 to 15 cups a day. I tried tea, but I never got hooked to it. I tried decaf too, but very soon I switched back to regular coffee.
Are you addicted to coffee like me? If so, how many cups of coffee do you drink per day?

The problem is that when the brain gets used to caffeine it will keep asking for more and more. I started with a mug a day, now I drink much more coffee, and if I don't I get a terrible headache.

Not as much as I used to drink. I used to drink about 4-6 cups a day, but lately I've cut back to about one or sometimes two. I've gotten a bit more addicted to tea, so I drink that in place of the other cups of coffee I used to drink. Doesn't keep me up as much as the coffee used to.

tea is much less addictive than coffee. I cannot cut on coffee unfortunately as this leads to terrible headaches.

I also heard that green tee (with jasmine) is an anti-oxidant too.

That' s funny and assuring at the same time. I hope I will never have to calculate my coffee consumption in gallons though.

I would say that yes, I am addicted to coffee. Well at least the caffiene that is in coffee. I usually drink 2-3 cups per morning with milk and sugar, and then another cup in the mid to late afternoon. Anymore and I would suffer insomnia.
I've tried various teas, at one time I was a tea-totaller drinking up to a pot of it per day, but after age 30 I switched to being a regular coffee drinker, and I do prefer it to tea.
Cheers!
