Cleaning every two week is quite good. As long as you immediately wipe up any spills. Also a box of baking soda helps to keep smells down that could ruin food. Covering you food is important also sinc the food is protected and the refrigerator is not smelled up.
Cleanliness is just a good way to live as long as it does not take over your life.

I clean my refrigerator good about once a month inside and out. I also take the vent off of the bottom and try and clean the coils underneath. Alot of dust builds up in them coils all the time. I have heard a refrigerator will over heat or stop cooling if those coils become too clogged. I have a frost free side by side refrigerator/freezer with a water and ice maker built in.
