Oh that sounds good, of course I'm hungry right now so everything is sounding good..even things I don't normally like. I do however think I really would like this. I will have to try it this weekend, maybe tomorrow. Here is a recipe I usually use for taco salad.
Taco Salad
2 ripe tomatoes, diced
1/2 pound sharp Cheddar, diced
1 large onion, diced
1 head iceberg lettuce, washed, drained and shredded
1 pound lean ground beef, browned, crumbled and drained
1 cup salad dressing (recommended: Catalina)
1 (7-ounce) bag taco flavored chips or corn chips, crushed
1 cup salsa
Tortilla chips, to serve
Combine the tomatoes, cheese, onion, lettuce, and ground beef in a large bowl. Add the salad dressing and mix well. Just before serving, add the taco chips, tossing to combine with other ingredients. Top each serving with salsa. Serve with tortilla chips.

Oh wow this is what I am having for dinner tonight. I am going grocery shopping soon. I love chicken, tacos, and salad. I am glad it makes 4 servings because I will eat all 4 no friends for this time. I have a huge problem when I get a new recipe and I really like it I ten to make it and make it. I very well could be eating these chicken taco salads all week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thanks for making my dinner tonight :))

My husband would even like this one. We would probably skip the avacodo. We love tacos, but I have been trying to eat less red meat these days. Ground turkey could be another option for this as well.

Great! It also sounds healthy and lower in sodium because there is no cheese. I think taco seasoning has sodium, but I can use my own.

This sounds really good. I would dump some homemade salsa on top, and skip the avocado. I know they're good for you, but I just can't force myself to enjoy them. I've tried, and I just don't like them. I like the way the chicken is mixed in with the seasonings and the sour cream instead of laying on top of the salad. Thanks for posting this!
