I like the dryer sheets..As the liquid means you have to remember to stop the cycle pour it in then restart again..I think it's more by convenience that I prefer the dryer sheets;)+

I use both. I like the smell the liquid gives the clothes. It seems to last longer. I use the cheap dryer sheets just for getting rid of static cling.

For me it depends on the season. In the summer I use liquid fabric softener becasue I mostly hang clothes out to dry. Our machine has a fabric softener dispenser built in to it so it makes it easy. In the winter when I use the dryer I prefer dryer sheets. My favorite fabric softener is Snuggle's botanical breeze, I love it.

never thought of it like that, yes a lot of people in the summer do hang up the clothes, then you would probably have to use the liquid because you couldnt hang the sheets on your clothes outside lol.

I used to use the liquid. But that dang ball got very annoying. Then I stopped using it completely. Now that the static has increased...I have recently purchased the sheets. At least I can't forget and miss the cycle or get upset that the dang ball didn't open. LOL The dryer sheets sit right on top of the dryer so I am sure not to forget. :D

I used to use the dryer sheets until I got a new washing machine with a fabric softener dispenser, so now I use the concentrated liquid. It's great because you don't have to worry about remembering to add it at the right time, and you don't get those spots on the clothing where it splashed with the water. I still keep dryer sheets to use if I have a very small load and don't bother with the liquid.

I like liquid. It seems every time I use the sheets they stick to something and I end up going to work with one hanging out of a sleeve or my pants leg.

I only use dryer sheets, I have used the liquid before but it never failed even when following the instructions it always left little oily stains on my cloths and i cant get them out. I like downey or snuggle the best.

I prefer fabric sheets. In my experience...if the liquid isnt used properly, it has ruined my clothes.

I prefer sheets, they are usually cheaper, cleaner, and quick. And you can get multi use out of them as well. Always use sheets!

Dryer Sheets - for fresh smelling clothes
Sheets for me. I love the smell when they're drying and it seems to stick on the clothes better. I'll use liquid if I'm doing a load that I'm hanging.

I can honestly say I prefer the liquid fabric softener better for many reasons. I have tried the sheets recently because I read that you can use the sheets for other things besides laundry. You can use the sheets for dusting, and that's all it's good for actually. After a load of laundry I still have the static cling I get from not using the liquid. I don't get that wonderful smell. I can go outside and tell when someone is drying there clothes just by the smell of the fabric softener. I love that smell, call me weird. After my sheets are all gone, I'm going back to the liquid stuff. But you can still get the sheets to dust with. I have also read that if you put a sheet in your pocket when you go outside this summer, it will keep those pesky biting bugs. I wish I still had the list that showed all the things you can use the sheets for besides going into the dryer.

I use what ever I have coupons for and what I find on sale. I usually cut the dryer sheets in half and only use half at a time any way. If I find liquid on sale, I use an old rag and pour a small amount on the rag and throw it in the dryer with the load of clothes like a dryer sheet.
