As you can see in the pic (just) we have two dogs (one is Phoebe the Rough Collie and one is Anastasia the West Highland Terrier). We love them both, but I have to say that for me Pheebs the rough collie is the cutest out of the two. I love to have a slightly bigger dog that you can cuddle harder and rough house with a bit tougher! (but without it getting nasty.. coz Ana can take it way waaaayyy too far sometimes and really bites hard).
I love Ana too, and I think she's incredibly cute and adorable. So it was tough for me to decide, I guess we've had pheebs longer, and so are naturally attached to her.
But all in all, I think she is one of the cutest dogs we have ever had. She's a bit loopy too, to add to the fun, even though sometimes she's annoying. But Ana (westie) is sooo crazy too, and I can see her being such a funny little dog that many will fall in love with...
Soo... what kind of dog do you prefer is not the question. Coz no way is a Doberman "cute"... So what is the cutest looking breed of dog and why?

I think at some time or another through my lifetime I have fallen in love with just about every breed of dog and think they are all cute. There is no way I could pick one particular one.
My Old English Sheepdog sleeping in front of the nursery door when my daughter was a baby. Or the mute we brought home from the pound that we rightly name "Skunky" because of her smell. The little beagle that lives next door to me now and barks his head off everytime I go outside until I speak to him. I think dogs are just like people, they each have their own unique personalities and I love getting to know them and love them for who they are.

Aw... great response and I love the name Skunky! I can't repeat what our westie should be called if we named her after her character! haha.
I agree, they are just like people, as are most animals, but dogs in particular have grown up with us now and are so similar in their nature to us. I love them all too!
Love and light.

Being a proud owner of a Yorkshire Terrier, of course I'm going to say my yorkie is the cutest breed of dogs:)
He thinks he big, sometimes I think he thinks he's human.
He walks around the house like a lil old man, playing occasionally...
He still is full of energy as he was when I first got him 8 years ago...I love my tyger...
Here is a picture of him below...

I think the Shih Tzu is the cutest dog. I have a three year old girl Shih Tzu, and she's awesome. She has hair instead of fur, so she doesn't shed and she's really cute.

I would have to say Maltese. My dog is a Maltese, and she is the cutest thing ever, one little thing though, she needs to go to the salon everynow and then because her hair requires a lot of maintenance... I have never planned to keep her hair long because after she was 1 year old, I realized I would either have to work part time to spend hours brushing her, or cope with a new version of the Maltese, that we could have called "Rasta-Maltese" ... So every 3 months she goes and get a little hair cut, almost like her mum hehehe ;) another thing I discovered with her, is that she loves our son, she enjoys playing with him so much, and cuddle with him, she has accepted him right away, although he was obviously gonna take away some of the attention we used to give her. It has not been so bad, and I guess this could be how she shows us that she is happy she still have her good place in our family, by also taking care of our little boy!

i think pug dogs are the cutest kind of dogs. they're the kid of animal that's so ..ugly, it's cute. their little squishy face and curled tail makes me want to explode. i really like bulldogs too though. i think they're so cute. i guess i like the heavy breathing, out of shape, fat kind of dogs.

I love Cocker Spaniels! I have a chocolate one, and she is just the cutest, most loving companion. She's not the brightest thing, but she loves to be with me all the time. Actually, she just loves people in general.
I really love dogs in general, and if I had the means to take care of more, I'd have a few more!!

i Have a westie too and i think he's really very very cute. He is very intelligent and does a lot of funnythings that i never seem to get tired off. Just the other day he was sleeping and he suddenly woke up in a start and ran to me and he had a very worried and concerned look on his face, just like he had a bad dream as was looking to me for comfort. Then when he's bored he puts his nose against the french doors i have in my house and makes nose prints and then tries to lick thm off. Its soooo cute!

I prefer small, long haired dogs such as a Maltese or a Papillon. My daughter, on the other hand prefers the bigger dogs, like Rots, Dobies and German Shepherd. Right now, her dogs are living with her uncle, I haven't had the heart to get another dog since I lost my little Mollie, so we just have my son's German Shepherd.
