Do you think pancakes are only for breakfast? McDonalds only serve pancakes at breakfast hours. But my kids love to eat them for afternoon snack. One day we went to McDonalds at 3:00 pm and my kids are craving for pancakes... I asked one of the service crew if he could cook up one for me then he said "Pancakes are only for breakfast"... hhmmmm

Hi! Pancakes has been a traditional American breakfast, and since McDonald's is an American fastfood chain, they comply to that tradition. That leaves them different from non-American fastfood chains, or sort of gives them identity to stick to their tradition. This is very unlike KFC wherein it adjusts to the country of franchise. It can be noticed that the food tastes different everywhere, and some countries offer only bread or potatoes instead of rice. McDonald's, I have noticed, tastes the same everywhere.
