When you do baking and the things that you bake, say cakes/bread/biscuit or muffins doesn't turn out good. What do you do with them. Still eat it or dump everything after the hard work?

I, often have things that doesn't turn out. I just throw them out and start over. One year, I threw away six batches of fudge. It wasn't even edible as s'spoon' fudge.

Even you didn't success, I admire your courage to keep trying again and again. That the spirit. We can never get it right if we fail to try and try. Remember when we try to walk, when we were small? So no pain, no gain!

It would depend. Most of the time, things I make still turn out edible, although not always perfect. So we still eat them - I might put butter or jam on muffins that came out dry, or have a glass of milk with imperfect cookies. If I burn the food, I don't eat it. It's not good for you. But I have a timer, so I rarely burn things anymore.

It never happen to me, I'm a baking expert lol just kidding. Of course it happens to me as well. The outcome? No I wont eat it. I usually leave it alone until the next days my mom throws it to the rubbish bin. I am not dissapointed because we do make mistakes when learning something.

I will definitely dump them especially if I'm alone when i baked them. That way eliminate any teasing that I might get from anybody :)

Okay bakers, hope these tips of my experience will be useful: 1. Always use cake emulsifier. Never underestimate this fellow because it will make your cake to have good textures and rise the dough 2. Use fresh eggs or ones that not refrigerated. Cold eggs will not rise the dough. 3. Make sure that all your baking tools are dry. Good news that now we can download f 250 pages of "how to bake book" for free. www.preparedpantry.com check it out!

If it's still edible, I'll put something on it to make it taste better like honey, jam, or use it for an ingredient in a casserole or something. If it's really bad, I'll throw it out and be upset.

I made homemade dinner rolls ONCE. They never rose. I went ahead and baked them anyway. My husband's friend, girlfriend and her son came over that evening. The girlfriend was in the house with me and I showed her my failures. I told her and my daughter to fill their hands and we started throwing these hard, unedible dinner rolls at the guys! The rolls didn't even break, so they started whipping them back at us. OMG, we laughed so hard. We had a good game going for a while, and nobody got a black eye!

Well, when it doesn't turn out good, no one wants to eat it; I sadly have to dump it to the trash bin. Argh... I didn't mind the hard work, I am prepared for all the work. I just think I would be dissapointed knowing that it doesn't turn out good, that's all.

It all depends on if its a flunk or I forgot about it and it got burnt. If its real bad it goes to the chooks, if its kind of cooked properly I use it in trifles and sometimes dish it up with hot custard.
