School USE TO be about learning about the government or getting ready for a future, but today's school is just a daycare. Parents nowadays send their kids to school because they have to work, thus making some of them just a distraction from the real school environment. Nowadays the government also micromanages our decisions and makes them for us, therefore the NEED to be educated is risen. The government doesn't care how educated you are, they still know (and always will) that they have ultimate ocntrol over you, unless, you can find a way to overpower them.I see school as a useless waste of time, it has become about which school has the smartest students, the best teachers, the most powerful principal, its not even about learning anymore, its pitiful.

1)to learn the value of education.
2)to acquire the building blocks of knowledge to help us get through to life.
3)to have our first social interactions with other people besides our family.
4)to know that the school is more like the govt. There are certain rules to be followed, people of authority and each individual has to learn responsibility to the obligations set before them.
5)It's govt regulations that a student must pass and have a diploma in order to pursue a college course.

Some people need the strict school setting in order to learn and others do it just to get the little piece of paper that says you know how to do your job.
