Yap... that happen to me often. But, lately I can control myself to be "cool" (pretending) if I were to give a speech. And also you sure know that "Practice makes perfect"and "Experience is the best teacher", so I do more practice and give more speech to handle myself.

i am convinced that public speaking isn't in my gene. often times i get the "mental block" thing, i could hardly understand what i'm saying. sigh

i do. i'm pretty comfortable talking if it's a one-to-one conversation, but put me before a crowd and i'd clam up. i started a discussion thread similar to this, and one of the suggestions i got was to look at only one particular person in the eye when giving a speech, and practically forget that there's a lot of people before you.

I feel nervous giving a speech or talking in front of a lot of people. I don't think I am as nervous about it as I was when I was younger though.

I think I would feel nervous making a speech in public and talking to a group of new people. However usually with new people I soon forget my nerves but with a speech I wouldn't stop being nervous until I had finished it.

That's very anomalous, many ones the more nervous may feel the more people are when give a speach
