do you mind your gf/lover is older than you ?

Age dosn't concern me very much at all. Well, I'm not going to date a 20 or 30 year old. Even early 40's is becoming debatable. However, when I was 50, I did meet and go out with a guy 14 years my junior. Somehow it worked for the most part. I always looked and acted younger than my age, and he had experienced alot in his life, and felt alot older. So we sort of met in the middle. He was "spiritual" person as well, and my age was his last concern.

as a man i do not mind my girlfriend to be older than me . to me 10 y older is accepted

My partner is 3 years younger than me, and it has never caused a problem for either of us. I know there is an old fashioned view, that the man should always be older than the woman, but when there are only a few years, I really do not see it as a problem in any way. People are people - some are mature at 16 years old, and some never mature! If you love each other, age should be no barrier.

i am not fussy for other people..but i like a man to be older..i think in that way i am old fashioned..my hubby is ten years older than me and i like that..but this is a personal preference..my sis has dated younger men and she feels fine about that..iam the opposite..traditional in that sense..

of course i don't mind. it would be a stupid thing not to have a relationship just because your girlfriend is older than you. you might be loosing the love of your life just because you are too caught with what others are thinking. and that is wrong. Age shouldn't be the criteria for deciding with who to have a relationship with.

I like girl that older than me because she do not mind little thing such as her birthday, first time I and her meet I think it is better to have young girlfriend I think young girl want everything and I must follow her mind so I do not like it because I cannot do everything to her

hello langhua!.i am a girl and i dont mind if my boyfriend is younger or older than me.. the conventional setting was that men should be older than women in a relationship. but times have changed and the world and the concepts of the society has changed too.. i guess the effect of the change for me makes me think openly and explore on the idea that in a relationship, things will work out if you truly love each other and will fight for each other, regardless of the age gap.. whether the man i am with is 10 years younger or older than me i think that we will survive everything if we trust each other and we help each other make our relatioship work.. so for me age doesnt matter. as long as there is respect, trust and love then nothing else matters!.

I think it doesn't matter who is older in the relationship. Some younger people can be more mature than some older people anyway so the actual age can be insignificant. Some men like older women and some women like younger man, it depends on the individual person and each relationship.
