You have received a very large legacy, but it can only be spent on renovating one room. What changes would you make? Dream and share your dream with us.

I would renovate the Living Room as the Living Room is my Pride and Joy and always has been. I love my Living Room lol. So that would be the Room that I would choose and I can just imagine how it would look to, lol.

Well, the living room is where you live, isn't it? Would it be pink? Going by your avatars, I'd guess pink is your favourite colour.

I'd make an indoor garden out of my back porch- close it in with windows like a greenhouse. I'd probably grow a lot of herbs to use for cooking and medicinal purposes, as well as some flowers and maybe some exotic plants. And if I could really have my dream...I'd raise butterflies in my garden.

I would do my kid's rooms over. I think that a play wonder land would be so awesome. It would have a quiet place with lots of pillows that they could read their books. It would have toys that would be educational and just a place where their imaginations would be able to run wild.

A child's wonderland! Wonderful! What about a sanctuary for mum while the child is lost in wonder?

Well we currently rent our home, as we don't know where the Lord wants us to be five years from now, but IF I had my own house.. I would def. do the kitchen unless another room was in disrepair. I would love to have a huge kitchen with a little island in the middle. I love to cook and to bake and would love for my boys to be able to "help" in the kitchen as well. I would get the best appliances I could and have tile floors. I would buy the nicest pans/pots and cooking utensils. Also, there is a really nice refrigerator that I have seen, and although it's expensive, I would fork over the money for that as well.

Every woman's dream! The perfect kitchen! I am happy with my big kitchen, but I would like tiled floors.

I guess , It will be our kitchen. I love to cook and my family loves to eat. However, I have a very small kitchen. It is only 5 sq. m.. I'd like to have a big kitchen, where I can have those big oven that I see on food shows and also those big refrigerator, so i can stock food for the whole week. A big kitchen would mean more fun for our family, since we love to cook and eat. My children likes to bake too, but since our kitchen is small, we usually do it in the dining area (and mess things up lot).

I have a very large kitchen. I designed my first home after marriage and a large kitchen was the first requisite. When we retired and bought a house in town, I looked at about 50 homes, but none had a large enough kitchen. Then I found this one and decided on the spot to buy it. I think a big fridge is essential. When we have visitors, I also use a spare fridge we keep in the shed for that purpose. Thanks for sharing

Conservatory. My mind thinks a pale blue for a conservatory, but in England, that might be too cold a colour. Maybe gold?

If I had received a very large legacy, I would renovate my lounge room, I would have it a lot larger than it is right now and have it open with large doorways, floor boards with a large flowing rug for winter time, and air conditioning that you could adjust for whatever the weather hot/cold, large windows, and beautiful flowing curtains.

That sounds great - especially the air conditioner, but I'd only use the cold setting. We have an open style lounge/dining/kitchen which is so suited to the Queensland weather. Keep dreaming. Maybe one day you'll be able to do it.

Well, the entire house needs renovating. But if I could only do one room, then it would have to be the kitchen as that is the one area that needs major work doing and I think that a good well laid out kitchen is a major plus when it comes to domestic comfort.

Yes, the kitchen table should be the place of memories as the family shares happy times together.
