I want to raise my kid as multilingual children. I speak Indonesian, my husband speaks English and the relatives speak Italian. I read an article that if we want to raise the kid to be multilingual, the key is consistency. I do that to my kid but now I have a problem because he's over three years and hasn't talked yet. We took him to psychology or speech pathologist and they say he's fine, no problem.I don't know if tis is always the case that multilingual children is a bit slow in talking. Has anyone ever experienced with raising multilingual children?

regarding to my family & friends who are have multilingual children, is normal for the children who are still not speak in this age, because of the multi language in the family. but don't you worry, as soon as they speak, they can speak all the language he or she hear all the time. it is take more time then the children who only speak ones language. belive me.
