Watch your personal messages

This is to everyone at Mylot, I just received 2 messages from a member here at mylot and in both of them were links, that is a virus, I unfortunately deleted the messages before checking the user but the links were definately viruses, I do remember that it was a short link with a group of numbers and letters at the end of the link, if you receive a message with a link like this do not click it, norton managed to catch it before it got me. I will watch to see if this link shows in any other posts and if so I will contact mylot ASAP. I suspect this is another one of those members that is displeased for some reason, but if I am the only one they targeted I don't know why.... Please, be on the look out for this message.

Why would anyone want to send to someone they don't know a virus? I know there are all kinds of people out there but why do that. It is so cruel.

I did receive a email with a link to it as the member was trying to promote a paying website. Was your link for a paying website as well? Do you remember what the avatar looked like? I will check my personal messages again and see if it matches up with what you mentioned. Thank you for the heads up about this link.

hi there and thanks for letting everyone know, now i shall be aware of any links that i get in my personal messages, i will just go on and delete them, cheers! :O)

thanks somuch for telling us..did you delete this guy as a friend and report it to mylot? i don't want to recieve any crap like that..i had enough trojans for this year lol..
