so the school where i work just started this marathon training program to help get the kids in shape and be healthy. so i signed up to be a coach. even though i am HORRIBLE at running, i figure this will get me into shape real quick! i'll have to stay motivated myself if i want to keep the kids motivated.

That is great of you to do such a thing. Be sure to make it fun and interesting. How will you go about that, maybe you can have relay races with teams versing each other.

That's really great of you to do that. It's always nice for kids to have someone to look up to. Good luck with everything.

Cool! I'm thinking about picking up running again by training for something like a 10K, and then working my way up to a 1/2 marathon. *Maybe* eventually a full marathon. Care to share any running/training tips? :)

I found a good training site: http://www.halhigdon.com I got a 10K training schedule off of there. It's free, too! Last night I ran my first 2.5 miles I've run in a while. It was brutal! And just think, I have to run 3 miles on Friday. yikes.
